If you are a falatu customer
- Ask for your account to be deleted by writing to hello@falatu.ai from the email on your account.
- We delete your account, connected accounts, automations and conversations within 30 days and confirm by email.
- Billing records are kept only for the period the law requires. Backups expire within 30 days.
If you commented on or messaged a business that uses falatu
In this case, the business you talked to decides about your data. You can:
- ask the business directly, which can delete your conversations in the falatu dashboard; or
- write to hello@falatu.ai with your Instagram username (or WhatsApp number) and the name of the business's account. We confirm the request is yours, delete the data linked to you in that account within 30 days and let the business know.
Deleting data in falatu doesn't delete comments or messages that are still on Instagram or WhatsApp themselves. You remove those in Meta's app.
What gets deleted
Your ID and username, the comments and messages we stored, the replies sent to you, your follower status and link click records. We keep only the minimum needed to show the request was handled (the date and the request's identifier).
